Duluth Homegrown Music Festival’s Children’s Music Showcase 2019

Can you hear it? The call of the wild is calling you… and the ENTIRE family! In case you haven’t already heard, the Duluth Homegrown Music Festival’s Children’s Music Showcase is being hosted at the Lake Superior Zoo this year! Save the date for Sunday, April 28th from 10am-4pm! This FREE event showcases local live music, educational programming, tables from family-geared organizations, and fun activities to do for all ages! Not to mention all the new critter friends you’ll meet around the Zoo grounds. We’ve got food trucks, a photo booth, interactive activities provided by The Duluth Children’s Museum, and hula-hooping with Casey Dunn… and that’s not all!
This year’s music and activity line-up:
10am – Fit4Mom Twin Ports – Duluth, MN/Superior, WI stroller exercise class
10:30am – World Beat Drummers
11am – Magical Curiosities By Greyson
11:30am – Zeb or Zeke and the Run Away Screamings
Noon – Meet & Greet with The Duluth Playhouse‘s Theatre For Young Audiences’ cast of “Winnie The Pooh”
12:30pm – Dan the Monkeyman
1pm – Dance Party with Piglet (aka local actress, director, and choreographer-extrodinaire Amber Burns)
1:30pm – The Langertsons
2pm – Live reading, drawing, and book signing with local author and artist Chris Monroe
2:30pm – Sydney Hansen Music
3pm – Family Yoga with Ignite Studio — be sure to BYOM/T! (Bring Your Own Mat/Towel)
3:30pm – Born Too Late
Get there early as we expect a HUGE crowd this year and be sure to dress for Duluth weather as most of the activities and music will be outdoors!
