School Break Camps

About School Break Camps

Looking for something for your children to do on a school holiday? Send them to the zoo for the day! Children will learn about animals while participating in hands-on activities and games.

Fins & Fur

In partnership with Great Lakes Aquarium

Grades 3-5 | October 28, 2019 | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Campers spend a day taking an active role in animal care at both Great Lakes Aquarium and Lake Superior Zoo. Learn what it takes to keep resident animals healthy and active. Go behind the scenes to prepare meals, clean exhibits, test water quality, observe animal training and more.

Pick-up and drop-off will be at Great Lakes Aquarium; transportation between the Zoo and Aquarium will be provided. Campers must provide their own lunch and snacks.
