2021 Summer Camps

Lake Superior Zoo summer day camps provide a fun and safe setting where youth can make both human and animal friends.

Each camp features animal encounters, hands-on activities, crafts and games that focus on inspiring children to care about wildlife, conservation, and the natural world. From Zoo Troop to Eco-Explorers, each level of camp exposes children to different opportunities as their learning levels progress. When they reach their teen years, youth can participate in Zoo Crew to gain a real-world understanding of what it’s like to work with animals and visitors at a zoo.

Our Zoo School offers part-time and full-time options for summer and school year for ages 33 months – 5 years. We are not able to offer Cub Club or Zoo Tots programs this year.

How does the zoo keep campers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic?

We have a full pandemic preparedness plan in place, as well as a parent guide and home screening tool for COVID-19 symptoms. Please click the links below to view those documents.
